On July 26, 1922, Rafael de Vierna beat his own record (6:05 am) on the Bilbao-Madrid route, lowering it to 5:00 am. 22', which means an average of 90 km/h. and some points of 130 km/h, which for the state of the roads at the time and with two mountain passes, are impressive.
